REHOBOTH - Pauline V. Ruark, of Rehoboth, went to be with her heavenly Father, on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was 95. Pauline was born in Marion Station, Md., daughter of the late Claude and Carrie (Hoffman) Messick. She was a supervisor for many years with Doxse's in Lewes. Pauline was an active member of Midway Assembly of God, where she had also taught Sunday School. In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Ruark, in 1986; and a son, Charles Ruark, in 2009. She is survived by two grandchildren, Robert Ruark and wife Michelle, of Laurel and Carrie Ruark, of Rehoboth; four great-grandchildren, Lauren Ashleigh Ruark, Carissa Stevens, Kira Rayne and Sydney Lynette; a daughter in-law, Phyllis Ruark, of Milton; sister in-law, Julia Ann Figgs and husband Roy, of Kingston, Md.; and her faithful companion and loving cat, Polly. A funeral service will be held Sunday, Jan. 3, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Midway Assembly of God, 34677 Old Postal Lane, Lewes, where friends may call after 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held Monday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m. at Sunny Ridge Memorial Park, in Crisfield, Md. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or Meals on Wheels Lewes Rehoboth, 32409 Lewes Georgetown Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.
