Pauline R. Eskridge, 80

SMYRNA - Pauline R. Eskridge, formerly of Laurel, died on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, in her home. She was 80. She is survived by her sons, Horace Eskridge Jr. and wife Deena, James Eskridge and fiancée Mary Agnes Landry, and Robert Eskridge and wife Ellen; a daughter, Diane E. Jennings and husband Robert; her brother, George Marvel; a sister, Audrey Leggs; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West St., Laurel. The Rev. Roland Tice officiated. Burial followed the service in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Alzheimers Association, 109 N. Bedford St., Georgetown, DE 19977.
