Pauline Mann MacDonald, 79

DOVER - Pauline Mann MacDonald of Dover, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, in Kent General Hospital. She was 79. Mrs. MacDonald was born April 15, 1929, in Caledonia, N.Y. to the late Harold Mann and Hazel Boingher Mann. She worked as an assistant manager for WT Grants in downtown Dover till the closing of the store. Mrs. MacDonald enjoyed crocheting, watching Wheel of Fortune, camping, fishing, traveling with her husband, but her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herman M. MacDonald Feb. 1, 2007. She is survived by her four daughters, Connie Grice and her husband Paul of Georgia, Carol Gillenwater and her husband Noah of Hartly, Colleen MacDonald of Dover, Cheryl Vinciguerra and her husband John of Milford; seven grandchildren, Brian Brown, Tammi Campanello, Paula Hertzig, Michelle Gillenwater, Jennifer Cohan, David Vinciguerra and Joshua MacDonald, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Friday at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10). Friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Camden Wyoming Fire Department, P.O. Box 186, Camden, DE 19934.
