MILFORD - Pauline M. Webb, of Milford, died on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood. She was 86. Mrs. Webb was born in Leewood, W.Va., the daughter of the late Charles H. Simpson and Xava C Nunn Simpson. She was the owner of a beautician shop in Ellendale for many years. She was a longtime member of the Church of God in Milford. She enjoyed, crocheting, reading, and loved music and played the guitar and sang. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Walter Webb; three children, Terrence Webb and his wife Dianne of Milford, Carol Apgar and her husband Mike of Dover, and Mary Xava Kaye and her husband, James of Nassawadox, Va.; two step-children, Jessie Webb and his wife Joyce, and Janet Lane and her husband Jerre; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Thursday, Sept. 10, at Milford Church of God, 500 N. Walnut St., Milford. Interment will be held in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. Contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, 109 N. Bedford St., P.O. Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
