Pauline L. Fry, of Felton, passed away on March 16, 2025 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus. She was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Pauline Krouse.
Pauline retired from the State of Delaware, where she did technical support with the Division of Corporations. She loved her job, rarely missed a day, and accumulated a year’s worth of sick time. Pauline attended the Bethel Worship Center where she enjoyed watching her great grandson play guitar.
Pauline enjoyed traveling with her late husband, often visiting Wisconsin, Myrtle Beach, and Florida. She enjoyed bus trips with the Frederica Senior Center and listening to Gospel Music with her brother Butch. Pauline was a quiet, sweet, independent lady who enjoyed word puzzles, spending time with family, and babysitting her great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching Duke basketball.
In addition to her parents, Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Gifford Fry; son, Wilson E. Fry, and brother, Butch Krouse.
Pauline is survived by her children, J. Craig Fry (Carol), Sharon McClister (Phil); grandchildren, Stacey Ferrell (Bobby), Chris Fry (girlfriend, Lin), Ashley Riley (Jesse), and Cheryl Fry; great grandchildren, Colin Ferrell (fiancé McKayla), Madilyn Riley, Syler Riley, Briere Fry, and Aurora Fry; and extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Hwy., Harrington at 12 noon. A visitation will take place one hour prior, starting at 11 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Hopkins Cemetery in Felton.
