DOVER - Pauline C. Pierce, 90 years old, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 11, 2016 peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God and the Modern Maturity Center in Dover. Formerly of Bridgeton, N.J. and Kennett Square, Pa. She was preceded in death of her husband, Johnny; daughter, Elizabeth; brother, Norman; and sister, Florence; and her parents, Grafton and Beryl. She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Debbie), Jonathan (Doris), Robert, Raymond; and her daughters, Pauline, Paula (Mark), Charlotte (Walt), and Linda (Joe); a sister, Alice; and also a lifelong friend, Carolyn Thomas. She had 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and countless nieces and nephews and extended family. Her faith and presence will be missed greatly by the family, friends and the church. Services will be Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Torbert Funeral Chapel located at 1145 E. Lebanon Rd, Dover DE. Friends and family may stop by from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and the service will be at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Modern Maturity Center, Mature Adult Care Program, 1121 Forrest Avenue, Dover, DE 19904.
