Paul Joseph DeVincentis III

CLAYTON - Paul Joseph DeVincentis III, of Clayton, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at home. He was 70. Mr. DeVincentis was born July 23, 1940, in Wilmington, to the late Paul Jr. and Gladys DeVincentis. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Paul J. DeVincentis IV. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Beverly Anne DeVincentis; two daughters, Patricia Dibble and her husband Merle, and Linda DeVincentis; and a son, David DeVincentis, all of Clayton; five grandchildren, Joseph, Heather, DJ, Jessica, and Kristina; four great grandchildren, Joey, Olivia, Mikell, and Isabella; a sister; a brother; four step-sisters; and two half-brothers. A viewing will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011, in the Faries Funeral Chapel located at 29 South Main Street, Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at noon. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
