SEAFORD - Patrick R. Shannon, age 49, of Seaford, died on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011. Patrick was a 1980 graduate of Seaford High School. He served in the United State Marine Corp for 10 ½ years and spent the last 6 ½ years working for Tidewater Utilities in Sussex County and the surrounding area. He is survived by the love of his life, Lisa Lundberg; a son, Christopher Patrick Shannon; a daughter, Shannon Renee Shannon; his parents, J. Rhea and Patricia Shannon; and his brother, Scott Shannon. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, at St. John's United Methodist Church, Pine and Poplar Sts, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Inc, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
