GEORGETOWN - Pansie F. Ross, of Georgetown, died on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at home. She was 83. Pansie was born in Concord, the daughter of the late Charles C. and Elizabeth E. (Watson) Fleetwood. She was a member of the Anglican Parish of Saint James in Georgetown and a volunteer at the Georgetown Library and was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed quilting and baking. She is survived by her husband, John E. Ross; two children, John Ross and his wife Linda of Rockville, Md., and Catherine Magee and her husband David of Georgetown; three sisters, Grace Thompson of Odessa, Catherine Vickery of Seaford, and Louise Bailey of Fairfax, Va.; and two grandchildren, Andrew Ross and Michael Ross. Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 16, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
