Pandora H. Waples, 52

SEAFORD - Pandora H. Waples, of Seaford, departed this life on June 5, 2009, at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. She was 52. Mrs. Waples was born on Aug. 30, 1956, in Lewes, to Nora Smith of Seaford, and the late Levin Handy. She is survived by her husband, Dennard Waples of Seaford; a daughter, LaToya Waples of Seaford; a step-daughter, Deknetra Perry of Wilmington; her mother, Nora Smith of Seaford; three sisters: Gail Thornton of Belcamp, Md., Eula (Calvin) Drummond of Frankford, and Shwanda (Robert) Lockwood of Seaford; her mother in-law, Ann Waples of Lewes; two sisters in-law, Wendy Beckett of Norfolk, Va., and Denise Thomas of Lewes; one brother-in-law, Kevin Tull Sr. of Salisbury, Md.; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at Zoar U.M. Church, Selbyville, with a viewing two hours prior. Burial will be in Golden Acres Cemetery, Bishopville, Md. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Seaford. Letters of condolence may be sent and guest book may be signed at www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com.
