Pamela J. (Lewis) Hurd VIOLA - Pamela J. (Lewis) Hurd, of Viola, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at home. She was 49. She was born in Orange, Mass., to H. Richard and Marion Lewis of Felton. Pamela was a homemaker where she was a loving wife and devoted mother of Rachel and Stephen. It took a lot of her time, patience, and love to care for her autistic son. She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel John Lewis. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Johnny Hurd; daughter, Rachel M. Hurd; son, Stephen R. Hurd, all of Viola; brother, Michael Lewis of Ashburn, Va.; sister, Janice Whitney of Dover; and mother-in-law, Margaret Hurd of Viola. Funeral services were held in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Burial will be in the West Orange Cemetery, Orange, Mass.
