Orlando Iannuzzi

Orlando Iannuzzi, 81

BRIDGEVILLE - Orlando Iannuzzi, of Bridgeville, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008, in Christiana Care-Christiana Hospital, Newark. He was 81.

Mr. Iannuzzi was born Aug. 15, 1926, in White Plains, N.Y., son of the late Augustino and Lucy (Bisiano) Iannuzzi.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II.

Mr. Iannuzzi was a landscaper for 60 years, having worked for several different landscaping businesses before retiring.

He loved his family and was a very kind-hearted man.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Iannuzzi was preceded in death by four brothers, Angelo, Louie, Johnny and Joe Iannuzzi; and three sisters, Rose, Carmine and Phyllis Iannuzzi.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Merle Fay Iannuzzi; a son, John Iannuzzi of Harrison, N.Y.; a stepson, Kenyatta Street of Wilmington; a sister, Rose Telesca and her husband Angelo of Dunnellon, Fla.; two nieces, their husbands and children, Mary Ann and Charles Bova and son Charles Jr. of Connecticut, and Patricia and Thomas Magaletti and son David of South Carolina; one nephew, Chuck Telesca of Dunnellon; and one cousin, Junior Iannuzzi.

Services and burial will be private.

The family has requested memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation, 325 Chestnut St., Suite 1016, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Arrangements handled by Rogers Funeral Home, Milford.
