An 18-year-old male was wounded in a shooting Thursday night, Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.
Cpl. Schmid said investigation began at 7:53 p.m., when police were notified of a loud party in the 400 block of Frear Drive. Officers responded to the area and heard gunshots upon arrival, he said.
Officers checked the area and located the victim who had sustained a gun shot wound to his lower body, according to authorities said. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment and listed in stable condition.
There are no leads at this time, Cpl. Schmid said.
