Oliver F. Whaley, 92
LAUREL - Oliver F. Whaley, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, in the Seaford Center. He was 92. In addition to his parents, Oliver was preceded in death by his wife, Emily L. Whaley; two brothers; two sisters; and a grandson. Oliver is survived by his two sons, Ronald D. Whaley and wife Janice, and Edward Thomas Whaley; grandchildren, Laura and Ronny Brown, Allen and Stacey Whaley, Leonard Thomas and Laura Whaley, and Russell T. and Bonnie Whaley; and great-grandchildren, Amber and Kristen Brown, Jacob Whaley, Lindsay and Chase Whaley, and Emily Whaley. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 9th St., Laurel. The Rev. Fred Duncan will officiate. The Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel, is serving the Whaley Family.
