DOVER - Oliver Adley (Buddy) Kendall Jr.passed away on June 2, 2015 at Kent General Hospital after a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his immediate family. A former resident of Seaford, he currently lived in Dover. Buddy graduated from Smyrna High School in 1974 and worked as a buyer/purchasing manager for Bloch & Guggenheimer/Polaner in Hurlock, Md.; Noland Company in Seaford; and Taylor Marine in Milford. Buddy was predeceased by his parents, Oliver and Anna Mae Kendall; stepfather, Harry Hall; a sister, LouAnn Briscoe; and two brothers, David Lee Kendall and Harry Preston Hall. He is survived by his brothers, C. Michael Kendall of Dover and L. Carl (Debbie) Kendall of Florida; sisters, Helen Kendall of Dover and Karen (Wayne) Curry of Wyoming, DE; a daughter from his marriage to Bonnie Ward Kendall, Anna Marie (Robbie) Brode and her children, Robert and Rylan; stepsons, Andrew (Jessica) Jackson and their children, Amelia and Leo; and Aaron (Jill) Jackson and their children, Logan and Emorie; his partner, Kristina Lentz Mujica and her daughters, Rosemarie and Kristina; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. At Buddy's request there will not be any services. He donated his body to the Humanity Gifts Registry to be used for study and research. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Centennial UMC with Code Purple on the memo line, 44 East Mt. Vernon Street, Smyrna, DE 19977.
