WILMINGTON — A 35-year-old Ocean View woman was sentenced to 42 months in prison in connection with distribution of meth.
According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Delaware, Melanie Mitchell was ordered to report to a designated prison Jan. 8, 2024. The sentence was pronounced Nov. 21 by Colm Connolly, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
On Sept. 9, Mitchell’s husband, Vincent Mitchell, 35, was sentenced to 48 months’ incarceration for the same offense, authorities said.
