DOVER - Norman Owen Welch, 65, of Hartly, passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010. He was born on June 19, 1945, in Chestertown, Md., the son of Norman and Hulda Welch, who preceded him in death. Norman is survived by his three children, Terri Myers, Tammy Fogel, and Christopher Welch; his sisters, Phyllis Willard and her husband Larry, and Emily Shockley; and his beloved grandchildren, Joshua Strock, Ashley Strock, Christopher Myers, Blake Cooper, and Seth Cooper. He lovingly remembered Little Mary and Jimmy, as well. Norman was a carpenter who loved working with wood, but his passions included reading, traveling, and giving special attention to his grandchildren's activities. Services will be 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather one hour earlier.
