Norman Joines, 85 SHARPTOWN, Md. -Norman Joines, age 85, of Sharptown, Md., passed away on May 1, 2010, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. Norman was a member of the VFW, Mason Dixon Post, and loved golfing. He retired after 30 years of service from Townsend's Inc. as a Plant Manager. His life revolved completely around his wife and his family. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty M. Brittingham Joines; four daughters, Joan Collins and husband Jr., Patricia Lynn Baker, Karen Lee Joines, and Denise Ellis and husband William; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
