VIOLA - Norah June Whitenight, born Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, to Brad and Janna Whitenight of Viola, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011. Besides her parents, Norah is survived by a brother, Brayden, at home; grandparents, Debbie Johnson of Clinton, S.C., Jan and Carolyn Johnson, Donna Whitenight, and Jerry Whitenight, all of Berwick, Pa.; great-grandparents, June Whitenight and Agnes Johnson, both of Berwick, Pa., and Dave and Betty Harter of Bloomsburg, Pa.; aunts, Justine Johnson and her husband Steve Lorenz of Durham, N.C., Christy Hiller and her husband Bryan of Nescopeck, Pa., Melissa Fisher and her husband Craig, Wendy Whitenight, all of Berwick, Pa.; uncles, Jesse Johnson of Richmond, Va., and Doug Whitenight and Tim Whitenight, both of Berwick, Pa.; and many special cousins. In her short life, Norah touched the hearts of her family and many close friends and people around her in ways that could not be imagined. A celebration of Norah's life will take place on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mill Road, Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made payable to the Norah June Whitenight Memorial Scholarship Fund and sent to the First National Bank of Wyoming, P.O. Box 19, Viola, DE 19979.
