LAUREL - Nora Emma Donovan Ryan of Laurel, Del., died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at her residence. Born in Seaford, Del., the daughter of Elnora Lingo and Alexander Donovan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God, Stein Hwy., Seaford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Ryan, in 2001. She is survived by two sons, Robert and Edward Ryan of Laurel, Del.; nine daughters, Mary Bull of Seaford, Catherine Ryan of Laurel, Del., Anabelle Lambert of Willards, Md., Joyce Ryan of Bishopville, Md., Nora Caudill of Seaford, Ida Bratten of Pittsville, Md., Doris Calloway of Apache Junction, Ariz., Virginia Jenkins of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Vicky Brown of Smyrna, Del.; a granddaughter, Tiffany Ros of Laurel, Del.; and many grand children, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services will be Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the Church of God, Stein Hwy., Seaford, where friends may call from 1 - 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Blades Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Compassionate Care, 201 E. DuPont Hwy., Millsboro, DE 19966. Arrangements are in the care of Watson-Yates Funeral Home of Seaford, Delaware.
