Nicholas Pica

Nicholas Pica, 72 CLAYTON - Nicholas Pica, of Clayton, died at home on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009. He was 72. Mr. Pica was born April 16, 1937, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Anthony J. Pica and Cecelia Gestal Pica. As a young man he served in the Air National Guard. Mr. Pica was a self employed truck driver retiring in 2008 after 52 years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Pica; and sister, Geraldine Rivelli. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ellen Pica of Clayton, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Services will be private. Arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapel, Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com. Donations can be made in his memory to the Kent County SPCA , 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
