CAMDEN-Nelson C. Wyatt passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Nelson was the son of the late Clarence and Mildred Wyatt. He graduated from Felton High School in 1958. Nelson worked for ILC Dover for 55 years. He was very proud of being one of the "Original 28" that moved from the Dover location to open the facility in Frederica. Nelson has many close friends from his years at ILC. He will be remembered as a kind and generous person who always had a charming smile and a story to tell. Nelson was a natural athlete who excelled in all sports. He enjoyed basketball, softball and bowling. He loved going to the casino with his loving wife, Nancy, to play the slot machines. He also liked antique cars, hot rods, muscle cars and NASCAR. Truly it is hard to put 75 years' worth of greatness into one short paragraph. Nelson was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Francis Hammond; and his beloved grandson, Brian. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He took great pride in his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his two daughters, Lisa and her husband, Doug Poore, Darlene and her husband, Tim Blythe; and by his grandchildren, Victoria, Jessica and Jason. He is also survived by his sisters, Phyllis Hammond, Caroline and her husband, Charles Gunter, Joyce and her husband, William Sipple, Charlotte and her husband, Troy Archer; and by his brother, Robert Wyatt and his wife Jean; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, Del. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., where relatives and friends may call Friday evening, January 9, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Burial will be at Barrett's Chapel in Frederica.
