Nancy Elizabeth Leslie

FELTON - Nancy Elizabeth Leslie passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Country Rest Home, Greenwood. Mrs. Leslie was born May 20, 1941 in Deep Creek, Va. She worked as a case worker for Modern Maturity Center in Dover and the Salvation Army. Mrs. Leslie sang for the "Johnny Cake Singers" out of the Frederica Senior Center at convalescent and rehabs facilities. She enjoyed traveling and going to the casinos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex G. Leslie; and son, Clair Leslie. She is survived by her sons, Anthony G. Leslie, Curtis A. Leslie, Roger W. Leslie, all of Felton; and Christopher G. Leslie and his wife Becki, of Dover; grandchildren, Julia and John Leslie. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Frederica Senior Center, 216 Market Street, Frederica, DE, 19946. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
