Nancy E. Brady, 65 CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Nancy E. Brady, died Thursday, February 25, 2010, in the University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, Md. She was 65. She was born August 1, 1944 in Lynch, Md., the daughter of the late William L. and Nancy Porter Simns. Nancy graduated Rock Hall High School class of 1962. During her early years of marriage, Nancy enjoyed working on the water with her husband, who was a commercial fisherman. Together they traveled up and down the East Coast waterways. From 1978 to 1989, her and her husband also co-owned and operated Waterman's. She was also a school bus driver for the Kent County Public Schools, and during her last 5 years there, she was the school bus driver trainer. In later years, Nancy worked at Heron Point as a chauffeur, as well as for Prince's Limousine Service. In addition to being a housewife and grandmother, Nancy also enjoyed reading, cooking and movies. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dogs. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, C. Wayne Brady; a son, C. Wayne Brady II and his wife, Sherri of Lancaster, S.C.; daughters, Missy Willis of Chestertown, Md. and Janie Welch and her husband, Greg of Chestertown, Md.; sisters, Lesley Jester of Rock Hall, Md. and Darlene Freeman of Chestertown, Md.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Services were 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Rd., Chestertown, Md. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Queen Anne's, 255 Comet Dr., Centreville, MD 21617. Online condolences may be made to www.fhnfuneralhome.com.
