MSgt. Robert M. Sells

DOVER - MSgt. Robert M. Sells passed away Oct. 20, 2017 at Kent General Hospital. Bobby, as his family referred to him was born in Galax, Va., the son of Bill & Lillian Sells. He was one of six children.
Bob spent 26 years in the Air Force. After his retirement, he worked bidding and monitoring contract work for the State of Delaware in asbestos removal. His hobbies included guitar playing, travel, carpentry and spending time with family. His family commented that if he had not joined the service he would have been a carpenter or a police officer. Bob was an active volunteer at Dover Air Force Base and with the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lucie; daughters, Cathy Sells and Marie-Elaine Sells; sister-in-law, Christene Sells, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming from 6 p.m. until time of vigil service at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, 10:30 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call at church beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
