CAMDEN - Miriam Scott Ferguson, age 98 of Camden, Del., passed away of Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at the Silver Lake Center, in Dover, Del. She was the wife of Theodore B. Ferguson, who passed away in 1989, and with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Born in Avondale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late H. Blair and Eva McCue Scott. She was a Registered Nurse, working in numerous phases of nursing for 45 years, retiring from Kent General Hospital in Dover, in 1977. She was a member of the Whatcoat United Methodist Church in Camden, Del. She was a 1929 graduate of Avon Grove High School and a 1933 graduate of the Chester County School of Nursing. She loved to travel, read and spend time with her many good friends She is survived by one aunt, Margaret Thomas of Kennett Square, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews in Oklahoma and Pennsylvania, and many good friends in Dover, Del. She was predeceased by one brother, Robert L. Scott. You are invited to attend her graveside service at 2:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon, Oct. 21, 2010, at the New London Presbyterian Cemetery, Route 896, New London, PA. In memory of Miriam, a contribution may be made to the Whatcoat United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, West Grove, PA.
