Minnie Q. Warrington

MILTON - Minnie Q. Warrington, of Milton, and Webster, Fla., passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at home. She was 60. Minnie was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Vincente Quijano and Virginia (Miles) Quijano Willey. She retired from Justin Tanks in Georgetown after 32 years, building fiberglass tanks and ladders. Minnie enjoyed traveling to Florida and collecting baskets and crystal. She also enjoyed cleaning and cooking, especially cooking for friends and family and hosting dinner parties. Minnie was a loving family member and friend, who was loved by all and loved everyone in return. In addition to her parents, Minnie is preceded in death by a sister, Marie Quijano. She is survived by her loving husband, Harold D. Warrington, Sr., who described their marriage as, "the best 10 years of his life"; two sons, Keith Parker and Michael Parker; two grandsons, William and Tristan Parker; eight siblings, Julius Jefferson, Vincent Quijano, Herbert Willey, Jr., Nathan Willey, Barbara Craft, Irene Quijano, Diane Patrick and Yvonne Happ; three step-children, Tamara F., Harold D. Jr., and Dean R. Warrington; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton where friends may call after 12 p.m. Burial will be in Cokesbury Cemetery.
