Milford to let DelDOT move gear for U.S. 113 path project

MILFORD — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) soon will require Mayor F. Todd Culotta to sign an agreement allowing the agency to relocate some city facilities for an upcoming share-use path project along U.S. 113.
DelDOT will be designing and building a shared-use path on the east side of U.S. 113 from an existing path at The Plaza at Milford to Buccaneer Street. The agency plans to adjust one utility box and two guy wires; remove one guy wire and run two span guys to two existing poles; and provide a power source to four cabinets.
DelDOT also will adjust one wastewater manhole, two fire hydrants and three water valves, according to a memo by Milford public works director Willis Shafer.
