MILTON - Mildred M. "Mil-Mil" Wells passed away Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. Mildred was born in Milford on Jan. 12, 1948 to the late Harold and Mildred Bittle Wilson. Mil-Mil was a member of Water's Edge, was a daycare provider, enjoyed playing cards and, especially, spending time with her family. She was preceded by her husband of 49 years, R. Donald 'Donnie' Wells in May of 2015. Mildred is survived by her children, William 'Donnie' Wells of Milton, Maryann and her husband Jerry Callaway of Bridgeville and Robert S. Wells and his wife Tina of Milton; nephews, Jake and Ronnie that lived with her; several grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton. A time of visitation will take place the night before on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Slaughter Neck Cemetery.
