Mildred M. Phillips

DOVER - Mildred M. Phillips passed away, Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 at Kent General Hospital.
Mrs. Phillips was born Sept. 7, 1931 in East Tawas, Mich. to the late George Dawes and Elizabeth Caswell Dawes.
She was a property manager for New Plan Realty Trust which ran Rodney Village Shopping Center, Mayfair and Rodney Village Apartments. Mrs. Phillips was a long time member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Dover. She enjoyed reading, daily visits to the bagel shop and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Phillips and his daughter, Kathy Glascock.
She is survived by her children, Mark Achenbach (Robin) of Dover, Jessica Snow (Bruce) of Smyrna, Barbara Menden (Gary) and Brooks Phillips (Debbie) all of Wyoming; son-in-law, Bob Glascock of Ellicot City, Md.; grandchildren, Megan Glascock, Caitlyn Anderson (Kyle), Todd Menden (Amber), Morgan Fountain, Conner Menden, Brett and Brady Phillips, Dakota Achenbach (Aimee), Jonathan Snow (Whitney) and Benjamin Snow (Becca); nine great-grandchildren; and her good friend, Norman Greenfield.
Memorial services will be held 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 or St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 425 N. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
