Mildred M. Meurling

Mildred M.Meurling, 95

SMYRNA - Mildred M. Meur-ling, of Smyrna, formerly of Kennedyville, Md., passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 95.

She was born in Crumpton, Md., the daughter of the late Gilbert and Nora Sparks.

Mrs. Meurling was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Kennedyville area, moving to Smyrna about 15 years ago.

She enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

Mrs. Meurling was preceded in death by her husband, Ivor Meurling; and a brother, Gilbert "Skeeter" Sparks.

She is survived by a son, George Money Sr. and his wife Margaret of Smyrna; five grandchildren, George Money Jr. and his wife Darlene of Middletown, Linda Ritterhoff and her husband John of Wyoming, Judy Kunzweiler and her husband Edward of Clayton, John Money and his wife Jeanett of Phoenix, and Sharon Coxe and her husband George of Dover; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at noon.

Burial will be in Crumpton Cemetery, Crumpton.
