MILLSBORO - Mildred Grace Eccleston, age 71, of Millsboro, formerly of Dover and Felton, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Renaissance Health Care, Millsboro. Mrs. Eccleston was born in Worcester, Mass., on Jan. 21, 1941, daughter of the late Willis N. and Ethina (Hopkins) Buchman. Mildred had previously worked at the Coach Outlet in Rehoboth Beach, before her retirement and a member of the Eastern Star. Mildred loved to paint, flower gardening and her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Bruce Eccleston of Felton, and Dean J. Blades and his wife Kelly of Frankford; two daughters, Pamela J. Cox and her husband Timothy of Seaford, and Robin A. Edwards; a sister, Beverly Payne of Richmond, Va.; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild. A graveside service will be 1 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012, at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Rd., Milton, DE 19968. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Mildred's name to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
