Michael Warren Evans, 43

MILFORD - Michael Warren Evans, a long time survivor of cystic fibrosis, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008 in John's Hopkins Hospital. He was 43. Michael was born in Phoenixville, Pa., on May 3, 1965, to Donald E. Evans Sr. and the late Genevieve K. Evans. He was a 1984 graduate of Milford High School, a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed many things in life including NASCAR, baseball, football, soccer, boating and fishing, camping, and being an active member in the Seaford Fire Department and Fire Police. Michael is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Michaella Evans; his father, Donald E. Evans Sr.; his brothers, Donald E. Evans Jr. and his wife Sonia, of Seaford, Joseph H. Evans and his wife Mary Jo, of Royersford, Pa., and Peter J. Evans, of Felton; and his grandmother, Anna L. Evans, of Spring City, Pa. A Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Milford, with a memorial gathering immediately after at Memorial Fire Company, Slaughter Beach. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the C.F. Foundation, 2004 Sproul Road, Suite 208, Broomall, PA 19008.
