Michael Scott Mabrey, 38 DOVER - Michael Scott Mabrey, of Dover, died Friday, July 4, 2008, in his home. He was 38. Scott was born in Delaware, son of the late Betty Jane Schelts of Dover and John E. Mabrey of Hartly. Over the years he was employed as a cook in various restaurants. Scott was also employed at Allen Tech. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, NASCAR, and the Indian Pow-Wow. He also enjoyed going to Little League games with his children. Scott is survived by his wife, Cindy Mabrey of Dover; children, Scott Mabrey Jr. of Dover, Courtney Mabrey of Felton, Paige Mabrey of Dover, and James Wittman of Dover; stepchildren, Joshua Wittman, Ephel and Ashley Diehl, all of Dover; two brothers, Mark Mabrey of Felton and Randall Smith of Ohio; half-brother, Waylin Mabrey; and nieces, Amber and Brooke Mabrey of Felton, and Macy and Kyra Smith of Ohio. Family and friends are welcome for a memorial gathering from 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Call (440) 309-6225 for more details.
