DOVER - Michael H. Sullivan, of Dover, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at Kent General Hospital. He was 64. Mr. Sullivan was born April 11, 1946, in Newport, R.I., to the late Joseph Cornelius Sullivan and Irene Howard Sullivan. He owned and operated the Colonial Barber Shop in Down Town Dover for 20 years retiring this year. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed horseback riding and being with his faithful companion, his dog, Coco. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree Knight and Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover, and was Vice President of The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Dover. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his brothers, Bob Harris of Millsboro, Joe Sullivan of Florida, and Jack Sullivan of Newport, R.I.; his sister, Cornelia B. Sullivan of Newport, R.I.; Robert Miller who was like a son to him of Dover; 18 nieces and nephews and 30 great-nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover.
