REHOBOTH BEACH - Michael Chad Morgan, 65 of Rehoboth Beach, passed away on March 30, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born Oct. 19, 1945, in Ellwood City, Pa. He was the son of the late Vincent F. Morgan and Mary C. "Curry" Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a Vietnam Veteran and served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. He also served as Chief of Staff for D.C. Councilman Harold Brazil. While in D.C., he also worked as a hotel manager. Mr. Morgan resided in the D.C. area in his earlier years. After retiring, he relocated to Rehoboth Beach, seven years ago. He traveled extensively and loved to garden. He is survived by Life Partner Joseph Bowers, of Rehoboth Beach; a brother, William J. Morgan and wife Elli, of Mechanicsville, Md.; two sisters, Shaleen DeSanzo, of Ellwood City, Pa., and Molly Ward of LaPlata, Md.; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
