Jackson Watson, 51 Melody Marie Jackson Watson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012. Melody was born on Oct. 26, 1961 to Madeline Jackson and the late Robert Swain. She received her education in the Smyrna School District. Melody was a retiree of the State of Delaware where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 25 years. Melody was a member of Emmanuel AME Church, Hartly, Del. She was also founder and member of the Voices of Emmanuel Choir. Melody is preceded in death by her father, Robert Swain; and niece, Tara Swain. Melody leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Robert A. Watson, Jr. of Clayton; her only child, Coleman E. Jackson of Clayton; her mother, Madeline Jackson of Clayton; two sisters, Beverly Jackson and Jacqueline A. Jackson both of Clayton; six brothers, Robert (Naomi) Keith and Stanley (Yvette) all of Clayton, Henry Swain of Bear, Del., Renn Jackson of Calif., and Wayne Jackson of Wyoming, Del.; mother-in-law, Mrs. Grace Watson of Dover; three brothers-in-law, Marshall Wilson of Dover, James Watson and Apostle Chester Watson both of Clayton; four sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ducker of Townsend, Joyce Simmons, Sandra (Vernon) Steele both of Dover, Peggy (Wayne) Heath of Smyrna; host of nieces and nephews, cousins; a special niece and goddaughter, Shai'Azla Jackson of Clayton; a granddaughter and grandson, special cousins Herbert (Geneva) Sudler of Clayton, friends and former co-workers. Melody was joined in holy matrimony to Robert A. Watson, Jr., October 26, 2002. BABY GIRL, "Nothing separates us but time" We'll see you on the other side one day.
