GREENWOOD - Melinda Lou McKinney passed away due to severe pneumonia on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017.
Melinda was born on Mar. 22, 1969 in Chestertown, Md. to Clifton McKinney, Jr. and Linda McKinney. She was a very special, strong, courageous caring woman who enjoyed spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
Melinda is survived by her mother, Linda Kincaid; two sisters, Bonnie Hall and Vicky Taylor; one brother, Clifton "Ozzy" McKinney; her two beloved children, Harry Angstadt, Jr., and Rachael Schmidt; six grandchildren, Ariel Angstadt, Harry Angstadt, III, Nicole Angstadt, Hannah Schmidt, Chelsea Schmidt, and Liam Schmidt; and three aunts, one uncle, and multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
