...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM EDT

FOR SOUTHEASTERN WASHINGTON...NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON...CENTRAL MORGAN

AND BERKELEY COUNTIES...

At 301 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms with a history of producing wind

damage were located along a line extending from 6 miles southwest of

Wilson-Conococheague to 6 miles north of Martinsburg to near

Greenwood, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to

fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage

homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed

trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured

light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include...

Martinsburg, Shepherdstown, Boonsboro, Williamsport, Mount Aetna,

Mount Lena, San Mar, Kearneysville, Saint James, Berkeley, Halfway,

Keedysville, Funkstown, Falling Waters, Sharpsburg, Fairplay,

Hedgesville, Rohrersville, Gapland, and Brownsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT

FOR NORTHEASTERN WASHINGTON AND NORTHWESTERN FREDERICK COUNTIES IN

NORTH CENTRAL MARYLAND...

At 302 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm with a history of producing

wind damage was located near Wilson-Conococheague, or 10 miles west

of Hagerstown, moving east at 15 mph.

Hagerstown, Thurmont, Municipal Stadium, Robinwood,

Fountainhead-Orchard Hills, Smithsburg, Paramount-Long Meadow,

Wilson-Conococheague, Williamsport, Mount Aetna, Long Meadow, Saint

James, Halfway, Maugansville, Cavetown, Funkstown, Leitersburg, Clear

Spring, Sabillasville, and Fort Ritchie.
