...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN HOWARD AND
NORTHEASTERN PRINCE GEORGES COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central and northern Maryland.
...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT
FOR EASTERN ANNE ARUNDEL AND SOUTHEASTERN BALTIMORE COUNTIES AND
SOUTHEASTERN BALTIMORE CITY...
At 508 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Magothy River,
moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Emergency management reports a history of downed trees with
this line of storms.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
light objects may become projectiles.

Baltimore, Annapolis, Middle River, Riviera Beach, Mayo, Shady Side,
Naval Academy, Severn River, South River, Fort Smallwood State Park,
Gibson Island, Bodkin Point, Sillery Bay, Millers Island, Rhode
River, North Point State Park, Sparrows Point, Magothy River, Dobbins
Island, and Pinehurst.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 507 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Nanjemoy Creek to near Port Royal to Ladysmith,
moving east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
Fredericksburg, La Plata, King George, Dahlgren, Fairview Beach,
Nanjemoy Creek, Popes Creek, Hallowing Point, Wicomico River, Potomac
Creek, Port Tobacco River, Golden Beach, Massaponax, Spotsylvania,
Wicomico, Falmouth, Hughesville, Mechanicsville, Charlotte Hall, and
Passapatanzy.

extending from Bel Air South to near Newtown to near Stevensville,
moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Dover, Middletown, Centerville, Smyrna, Chestertown, Centreville,
Camden, Clayton, Delaware City, Cheswold, Rock Hall, Church Hill,
