May Feyl White

HARTLY - May Feyl White passed away on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at the home of her nephew. She was born on Sept. 15, 1927 in Summerset County, N.J. to the late Anthony B. and Fannie May Everman Feyl. Mrs. White was a 1947 graduate of Dover High School. She began her working career as a hostess and had volunteered as a hostess for the Westminster Church of the Brethren. She went on to become a telephone operator for Diamond State Telephone Company, retiring after 26 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Calvary United Methodist Church, Marydel, Md. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley W. White. She is survived by her son, DeWitt White(Yvonne), of Renton, Wash.; grandchildren, Brett T. White(Heidi), Eric White and Heather Stroh(Tyson; and many nieces and nephews. A committal service for Mrs. White will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, Md. Interment will be private in the Lakeside M.E.
