HARTLY - Maurice Purnell "T.T." Stanley III, of Hartly, departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, in Federalsburg, Md. He was 29.
He was born in Easton, Md., on Dec. 26, 1978, son of Loretta Marie Sharpe and Maurice Purnell Stanley Jr.
He attended various schools in Maryland before graduating at Bryan High School in Bryan, Texas in 1996.
After graduation, he opened his own clothing store, called Amani Fashions, followed by a trucking business called Stanley Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Maurice P. Stanley Sr.
Mourning his loss are two daughters, Mauriah Centelle Stanley and Amani Dianye Stanley; two sons, Maurice Purnell Stanley IV and Maurian Vincent Stanley; three brothers, Khali Miquel Ruffin, Vincent Cortez Stanley Jr. and Eric Clayton Wick Jr.; one sister, Monique Brown; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Sharpe of Preston, Md., and Mrs. Martha "Mom" Stanley of Federalsburg; fiancé, Latikia Aldridge; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday in the Greater Mount Zion Pentecostal Church of God, 5199 Bethlehem Road, Preston, Md., where friends may call two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Federal Hill Cemetery, Federalsburg.
Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Hurlock, Md.
