Masonic Charities of Delaware awards grants to statewide non-profits

DOVER — Masonic Charities of Delaware provided grants totaling $90,000 to 13 nonprofit, volunteer-run organizations that benefit youth, bereaved families, first responders and veterans across the state on Aug. 21 at the Dover lodge. 

Recipients included:  

  • The American Legion Foundation, Seaford Post 10, Newark
  • Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans Inc.
  • Wilmington Delaware Submarine Association, Inc., Dover 
  • Friends of Delaware Veterans, Inc., Dover 
  • Friends of the Fallen, Dover AFB 
  • Home of the Brave, Milford 
  • J. Allison O'Daniel Post No. 10, American Legion, Newark
  • Police Athletic League of Delaware, Inc., Dover 
  • The Green Beret Project, Smyrna 
  • Veteran Outreach Ministries, Newark 
  • Veteran Re-entry Resource Alliance, Wilmington 
  • Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 850, Dover 
  • Warriors Helping Warriors, Middletown
