DOVER - Mary Rebecca "Delores" (Bordley) Johnson of Dover, departed this life on March 11, 2016 at her daughter (Bessie) and son-in-law (Melvin's) home in Clayton, from complications of a long illness. Affectionately known as Mom, Grandma Johnson, Aunt Louise, Louise, Delores or Mary, as she was fondly called by her loved ones, was born in Ingleside, Maryland on January 10, 1937. She was the youngest child of the late William S. D. Bordley and the late Mattie K. (Sudler) Bordley. She was 79 years old. Mary was preceded in death not only by her parents; but also five children, a set of twins at birth, Sonnyboy Johnson, Robert Lee Johnson, Jr. and Delores Mae "Puchi" Baker; three sisters, Madeline Tatman, Bessie O. Bordley and her beloved Mae Margaret Bordley; four brothers, Ralph, Norman, Wilbert and Amos Bordley; and her estranged husband, Robert Lee Johnson. As a loving and caring mother, Louise leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Bessie Diane (Joseph Melvin) Sudler, her care providers of Clayton and Mattie Janette (Razzaq) Abdul-Aziz of Magnolia; a son-in-law, Robert G. Baker, Dover; a brother, Dempsey Bordley (Maxine) of Wilmington; and a sister-in-law, Martha Bordley of Dover; seven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be 12 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, DE 19934 where there will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Marydel, Md.
