Hanna, 87 DELTONA, Fla. - Mary "Pat" Patricia Hanna of Deltona, Fla. passed away, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 87. Mrs. Hanna was born December 3, 1928 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Edgar Smith and Blanche Donovan Smith. She worked as a bartender and owner of Pat & Paul's Restaurant and Bar in Lexington Park, Md. from 1955 unril 1961. She was bartender for Loby's Tavern in Dover, Del. from 1961 until 1984. She moved to Florida to enjoy retirement in 1984. She was a member of the Four Towns Moose Lodge #655 /WOTM #1939 in DeBary, Fla., where she served as Chaplin and Senior Regent. Pat was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 4526 in Debary, the American Legion in Sanford, Fla. and the VFW in Camden, Del. Mrs. Hanna enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a very giving person and worked hard all of her life to give her children a good life. She enjoyed weekly happy hours with her friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She was always happy. She looked at life as a gift from God to be lived to the fullest. She was very patriotic and very supportive of people who serve their country through military service. She was loved my many and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Hanna, 2002; brothers, Jim and Edgar Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Bridget McKinney Lane (Bob) of Camden; son, Pat McKinney (Patty) of Deltona, Fla.; grandchildren, Michelle Lane Stump (Dennis), Sandi Unkrur (Pete), William Patrick McKinney, Crystal McKinney, Erina McKinney, Casey McKinney (Ashley); great grandchildren, Sydney, Ireland, Roman and Phoenix Stump, William and Gabriel McKinney, Vincent Hernandez, Juelz McLaurin and Jacob Paul McKinney. Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to VFW Post 3238, 166 Old Camden Road, Camden, DE 19934.
