Mary Louise McGinnis, 46 FELTON - Mary Louise McGinnis, of Felton, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009. She was 46. She was born in New Orleans, La., to the late Sidney M. and Mary Birdwell. Mrs. McGinnis worked as an assistant manager at Arbys until 1995, at which time she went to work at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital in the linen department, and finally at Value City as an inventory specialist. In her spare time, she liked bowling, casinos, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was a strong willed individual who had a good heart, and always thought of others before herself. She was a loving and kind person who was friendly and outgoing and an easy person to get to know. She never had a cross word towards anybody, and was a friend to all. She is survived by her sons and spouses, Daniel W. Birdwell of North Bowers Beach, Paul W. and Barbara McGinnis of Magnolia, and Darick B. and Christine McGinnis of Dover; daughters and spouses, Lacy A. McGinnis of Felton, and Renee L. and Gerald Williams of Marion Station, Md.; brother, Butch Birdwell of Bellchasse, La.; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington.
