Mary J. Jansky, 94 DOVER - Mary J. Jansky, of Dover, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 at Capitol Healthcare, Dover. She was 94. Mrs. Jansky was born Aug. 6, 1915, in Boston, Mass., to the late Peter Mento and Angelina Santoro Mento. She worked for General Foods in the research lab for 26 years retiring in 1983. She had attended Holy Cross Catholic Church. Mrs. Jansky volunteered at Kent General Hospital following her retirement for 10 years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Jansky, Sr. in 1997; and her son, William F. Jansky Jr. in 1996. She is survived by her son, Richard Jansky and his wife Elaine of Milton, Mass.; her daughter, Patricia Donattella and her husband Anthony of Wollaston, Mass.; brothers, Peter Mento, Jr. and his wife Ginny of New Market, N.H., Anthony Mento of Fitchburg, Mass.; sister, Frances Thornton of Andover, Mass.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (rt.10), Dover.
