SMYRNA - Mary H. Andreas passed away at Kent General Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012. Mrs. Andreas was born Oct. 10, 1924 in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., the daughter of the late Harry and Christine Hontz. She retired from Stewart Pharmaceuticals after many years of service. Mrs. Andreas liked arts and crafts. She enjoyed going boating and camping with her late husband and family. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Wesley Andreas; her son, Edward W. Andreas; a granddaughter, Lisa Kincaid; four brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by three daughters, Irene Moore of Luthersville, Ga., Doris Kincaid of Smyrna, and Paulette Owens of Smyrna; a son, Dennis James Andreas and his wife Nancy O.B. of Bear, Del.; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna, where friends may call at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Wilmington, Del. Letters of condolence may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
