MILFORD - Mary Giammetta, formerly of Milford, died July 24, 2010, at the Capitol Health Care Center, Dover. Her age was 92. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Giovana Pepitone. Mrs. Giammetta had worked as a Dress Maker for many years and had lived on Long Island, N.Y., retiring in 1979. Upon her retirement she and her late husband, Jack Giammetta, had moved to Milford where they resided until his death in 1998. The Giammettas had no children and there are no immediate survivors. Mrs. Giammetta does leave a friend and care giver of many years, Kim Short, who now resides in Orrtanna, Pa. There will be no formal services but we do suggest that you say a prayer and or do a kind deed for someone who cannot do for themselves. Services and Cremation were provided by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., Dover.
