DOVER - Mary Etta Wolff, of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 71. She was born on April 11, 1939, in Dover, daughter of the late Abraham and Mildred (Gounce) Bratton. Mary was a Homemaker, Factory worker, and Service worker. She enjoyed visiting the beach, going to the Modern Maturity Center, dancing and being with all of her family. She loved life and people. She was a member of the Modern Maturity Center and the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge. Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Wolff (Retired Military) who passed away in 1998; a sister, Janet M. Landen in 1963; brothers, George H. Bratton in 2004, and Bobby Bratton; and a granddaughter, Tammy L. Gentry in 1972. She is survived by seven children, Terry Gentry and her husband Sam of Little Creek, Willard Patterson and his wife Joan of Smyrna, Joyce Nickerson and her husband Paul of Dover, Brenda Proud and her husband Bill of Smyrna, Edie Soto and her husband Eric of Panama City, Fla., Shawn Cadiz and her husband Michael of Frederica, and John Webb of Felton; brother, Bill Bratton of Kansas; grandchildren, Gregory, Mary Dee, David, Tammy, Matthew, Darlene, Willard, Curtis, Melissa, Bruce, Amber, Robert, Dale, Nick, Brittany, Michael, Erica, Christopher, Jessica, Tara, and Johnathan; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Grace Apostolic Faith Church, c/o Pastor Carl Hardin, 11925 Augustine Herman Hwy., Kennedyville, MD 21645.
